Orcas because of their intelligence.

Share a memorable story about a pet you’ve treated?

I once had to give meds to a patient every 30 minutes, a cat who originally really didn’t like me, but by the end of the day, she would purr and let me pet her every time I went in and she was feeling much better by then.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Seeing the change in a pet’s demeanour when they start feeling better.

What inspired you to work in this industry?

My love of animals and my lack of knowledge in some areas of veterinary medicine.

What advise would you give pet owners to ensure their pets lead healthy lives?

Get pet insurance.
