What is your pet’s name and why did you choose it?

My cat’s name is Gizmo, named after the Gremlin, because its suitable. My snake’s name is Bee, because she is a black and yellow ball python.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

The most rewarding part of the job is watching literally any animal get better and feel safe around us just from our help.

What’s your favourite part about working with animals?

My favourite part about working with animals is making them feel loved and cared for when they are here and watching their nervous or scared attitude turn into excitement and joy.

What inspired you to work in this industry?

I have grown up with animals all of my life, so of course I wanted to involve my work life with a huge passion of mine and help care for more than just my own animals, while learning a great deal about them too.

What advice would you give pet owners to ensure their pets lead healthy lives?

Its OK to worry about small things. Remember, we are there to take care of them and make them part of the family. Always take your pets for their yearly check ups, advocate for your pets.
