Alex graduated from the Maritime Business College in 2020 as a veterinary technician and joined our team after completing her externship with us. From a young age, she knew she wanted to help animals in need, which led her to this profession. Alex has 3 cats, Bella, Bentley, and Boone, and in her spare time, she enjoys reading and travelling. She has a special interest in animal behavior.

What’s your favourite animal and why?

Cats because my cat came into my life when I needed her most.
What’s your favourite part about working with animals?

Bring able to help them and to help end their suffering when the time comes.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?

When you are able to help a nervous dog become comfortable with the team and the clinic.
What inspired you to work in this industry?

My love for animals and wanting to help them in any way I can.
How do you stay updated with the latest developments in veterinary care?

Through continuing education.
